Because bonding to low-surface-energy films (like blown PE vapor retarders) in construction environments can present significant challenges, we don't rely on relabled, generic accessories. Who We Are...
Hygrothermix is built on more than two decades of experience in building science, materials engineering, and construction innovation. Long before the company was formed, our team was developing and manufacturing patented products, contributing to ASTM standards, supporting under-slab installations, and applying advanced hygrothermal modeling to better understand moisture in and around concrete systems.
The SlabTECK line grew from this foundation as a research-driven effort to rethink vapor retarder performance. The intent of this mission was to create a premium-priced best-in-class solution. The science lead us in a different direction—delivering science-backed moisture protection (products and design services) with practical installability and true cost efficiency.
